Medical sources revealed the developments in the health of the artist, Sherine Abdel Wahab, who is currently receiving treatment in a major hospital in Cairo, which is specialized in treating mental illnesses and addiction.

The last days witnessed an improvement in the health and psychological condition of Sherine Abdel Wahab, compared to the first days of her hospitalization.

Sherine resides in a separate ward, in which she is treated alone, and there are no patients with her, and it is closed with an iron door, and she is allowed to watch television through only one platform for a specific time as a kind of encouragement and encouragement to her, and she is not allowed to communicate by phone.

Until now, visits are still prohibited for Sherine, as doctors fear that she will suffer any setback if she learns of any negative news.

Press sources also reported that Sherine Abdel Wahab signed a personal statement, expressing her desire to continue her treatment in the psychiatric hospital, in addition to improving her psychological condition, especially after losing a number of kilograms of her weight, following a diet under medical supervision.

According to the doctors’ initial reports, Sherine will not leave the hospital before the end of 2022.

On the other hand, the Egyptian journalist, Hani Azab, stated that the date of Sherine’s new concert, which was scheduled to take place in October, has been cancelled.

Azab explained that the organizer of the ceremony agreed with Sherine’s business management on a new date, which will be in the middle of next January, in principle.

It is noteworthy that the artist, Sherine Abdel Wahab, is currently undergoing a medical examination and treatment for drug addiction in a psychiatric clinic in Cairo, after her mother and brother announced that Hossam Habib was involved and caused Sherine to become addicted to drugs.   

Hossam Habib, on the other hand, went out to deny himself the accusation of drug abuse, stressing at the same time that drugs were the reason for his divorce from Sherine, after he gave her the choice between continuing their marriage, or continuing to use narcotics.
