British King Charles III will resume his public duties today, Tuesday, after the positive impact of his cancer treatment.
The British news agency PA Media reported that King Charles has been receiving care as a non-resident patient in the hospital since early February.
Sources said that despite the good news, the king is still suffering from cancer and will continue treatment for the disease, the exact type of which is not being disclosed.
The King and Queen Consort Camilla are scheduled to visit a cancer treatment center on Tuesday to meet with specialists and patients.
The visit aims to raise awareness of the importance of early diagnosis of the disease and highlight the innovative research, supported by Cancer Research UK, that is being conducted at the hospital.
Last January, King Charles spent three nights in hospital to undergo surgery due to an enlarged prostate, where it was discovered that he had cancer.
He postponed all public events after announcing his diagnosis with the disease on February 6, but he continued his official duties from behind the palace walls.
