Day after day, the features of the expected ceremony for the inauguration of King Charles III to succeed his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, are revealed, which is scheduled to take place on May 7 at Windsor Castle.
Officially, some of the stars who will participate in the ceremony have been announced, by presenting some distinctive singing paragraphs.
The last stars to be officially announced to participate in the ceremony were international superstar Katy Perry, in addition to the famous singer Lionel Richie.
And Lionel Richie issued a press statement, which included: “Sharing the stage with other artists at the coronation ceremony, which is an event that is repeated only once in a lifetime, and it will be an honor and a celebration.”
The BBC, which is responsible for producing and broadcasting the concert, also announced that the two opera stars: Andrea Bocelli and Brian Tervill, will perform a “duet” together.
The British Broadcasting Corporation announced the first group of artists participating in the coronation ceremony, most notably the famous British pop group “Take That”.
The party will also be joined by: Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Mark Owen, who will perform their first live performance since 2019, while singer-songwriter Reddings will perform a duet with composer, producer and classical pianist French, who is a governor and trustee of the Academy. Royal College of Music, and also serves as the first Artistic Director of the Joint Council of the Royal Schools of Music.
According to the British BBC, the artists will perform in front of 20,000 members of the public and invited guests, in addition to the millions who watch and listen at home on a number of satellite stations, and it is expected that about 2000 guests will attend the ceremony.
