Colombian star Shakira considered, in her first television interview since the release of a popular song, attacking her former life partner, soccer player Gerard Pique, that her songs are “the best treatment, and it is more effective than a session with a psychoanalyst or psychiatrist.”
In a half-hour interview on Mexican television, Shakira said that recording the song “BZRP Music Session #53″ (” BZRP Music Session #53 “) in January served as a “breather” for her.
She added, “I entered the studio in one psychological state and left in another (…) (the recording) was an excellent and necessary outlet for my recovery and recovery process.”
Shakira continued, “I think I wouldn’t be where I am today if it wasn’t for this song, and if it wasn’t for me being able to express myself and think about the pain.”
She recounted that it was her ten-year-old son, Milan, who suggested that she cooperate with Argentine producer Bizarab to record a song. “He told me, ‘You have to do something with Bizarab, he’s the Argentine god,'” she added.
Last June, Pique, 36, and Shakira announced their separation, after they had lived together for about 11 years, during which they had two sons, Milan and Sasha.
Shakira attacked Pique and his new Spanish lover, Clara Chia (23 years old), in the song, which was overshadowed by electronic music with Latin rhythms, and among her words: “You go to the gym a lot, take care of your mind too. You replaced Ferrari with a Twingo and a Rolex watch with + Cassio +. I will not return to you even if you cry and beg me.”
And “BZRP Music Sessions #53” is the third song in which Shakira addresses the issue of her breakup with Pique, after “T-Felicito” and “Monotonia”.
