A Russian doctor confirmed that the appearance of what looks like a flying fly in front of the eye indicates various diseases, including poisoning and a high level of stress.
Dr. Lubov Romanova, a specialist in ophthalmology, said that the appearance of the fly in front of the eye can be an accompanying symptom of myopia, metabolic disorder and poisoning. It can also appear when you have diseases of the heart, blood vessels, nervous system, diabetes, and fluctuations in the level of blood pressure. According to the Russian newspaper “Izvestia”.
Romanova pointed out that the absence of the fly for a long time indicates that the eyes are seriously ill.
“What we mean here is a disease that affects the vitreous body of the eye, the lens of the eye, the retina and even the optic nerve and the visual pathways and centers in the brain,” she says.
The specialist notes that people over the age of 40 often suffer from eye diseases, but this does not mean that young people do not develop it. Therefore, she advises everyone who sees a flying fly before his eyes to see a specialist doctor to diagnose the cause and treat it.
