After 25 years...the author of "Saidi at the American University" announces a new part

The writer and producer, Medhat Al-Adl, revealed that he is in the process of writing the second part of the movie “Saidi at the American University”, which constituted a major shift in Egyptian cinema in 1998.
Al-Adl said, in his interview with the media, Asma Ibrahim, on the “Secret Ink” program, that he is keen Provided that the film proceeds in an attractive framework for the audience, based on the old story, and updating it in line with the current era.
Al-Adl confirmed that he had secured the approval of all the heroes of the first part, before starting to write the film, and they are: Muhammad Heneidy, Ahmed Al-Sakka, Mona Zaki, Hani Ramzy, and Ghada Adel, indicating that they had expressed their willingness to film if the script was completed, and the rest of the team would be selected.

But the well-known critic, Tariq Al-Shennawi, ruled out that the artist, Mohamed Heneidy, the star of the first part, would be the star of the new part alone, citing the stardom of Al-Sakka, Hani Ramzi, Mona Zaki and Ghada Adel, and said: “The film’s heroes presented it in their artistic beginnings, and Heneidy was steps ahead of them, but today they are They are all box office stars, so it is difficult to bring them together in roles of less space and audience.
On the other hand, Medhat Al-Adl is participating in the tourism art program “Passport” in its third season, which is produced by the well-known Jordanian, Muhammad Al-Majali. Al-Adl will present the program, which is broadcast on the Jordanian TV screens, the Egyptian Mazzika channel, in addition to the “YouTube” platform.
Filming will begin next January, from the coastal city of Aqaba, and the program will be produced, according to previous statements by its producer, via some web site
The program hosts the artists: Saba Mubarak, Iyad Nassar, Munther Rayahna, Kamal Abu Rayya, Majed Al-Masry, Magdy Kamel, Ahmed Saad, Jenny Esber, Nisreen Tafesh, Walid Tawfiq, and Omar Al-Abdallat.
