Saudi singer Mohammed Abdu performed on Friday alongside Spanish tenor Jose Carreras at Riyadh Season. Carreras is the first Spanish opera singer to share the stage with the Abdu, who is L own as the “Artist of the Arabs.”The pair performed at the Mohammed Abdu Arena in Boulevard Riyadh City.

Carreras was not the only music sensation who performed with Abdu on Friday, as he welcomed on stage Saudi singer Rabeh Saqer, rising star Zena Emad, Kuwaiti singer Abdullah Al-Ruwaished and Emirati Yemeni music sensation Balqees. The “Mohamed Abdo & Friends” concert featured more than 80 musicians and was led by maestro Walid Fayed. The event concluded with a group performance of the Saudi patriotic song “Fouq Ham Al-Sahab” (Above the Clouds).
