Taylor Swift announces her engagement to Travis Kelce
Pop star Taylor Swift announced her engagement to NFL player Travis Kelce on Tuesday in an Instagram post.
A joint Instagram post showed Kelsi getting down on one knee to propose to Swift in a flower-filled garden, while another photo showed the singer’s hand sporting an engagement ring.
The couple accompanied the post with a lighthearted comment saying, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”
Taylor Swift’s relationship with the Kansas City Chiefs star caused a media stir in 2023.
They revealed it after months of dating, after posting photos of them walking together in New York.
Swift (35 years old) is a global pop star whose albums sell in the millions.
Her twelfth album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” is scheduled for release on October 3.
Commenting on this announcement, US President Donald Trump told reporters at the end of a cabinet meeting, “I wish them both the best.”
“I think he’s a great guy and I think she’s an amazing person,” he said, noting that the president had previously criticized the American star on several occasions.
