FIFA has announced the start of the final stage of the sale of tickets for the 2022 World Cup matches.

FIFA has set the current September 27 as the date for the start of the final stage of the sale of tickets for the World Cup matches, to continue until the end of the World Cup, December 18, 2022.

The International Federation announced last August that nearly two million and 450 thousand tickets were sold in the penultimate stage.

The 2022 World Cup kicks off on Sunday 20 November with Qatar’s match with Ecuador.

The World Cup organizing committee decided to hold matches in 6 different stadiums, most notably Lusail Stadium, which will host the final match on December 18.

This is the last edition in which 32 teams will participate, with 48 teams scheduled to participate in the 2026 edition.
