Dubai Design District, affiliated to TECOM Group and the Arab Fashion Council, announced the launch of Dubai Fashion Week, the emirate’s official fashion and fashion event, in a significant step aimed at establishing Dubai as the global capital of fashion. The inaugural show of this remarkable event is scheduled to take place from March 10 to 15.
Dubai Fashion Week aims to enhance Dubai’s position as a global destination for major international companies and the most prominent talents in the fields of creativity, design and fashion. Dubai Fashion Week stems from the Arab Fashion Week and the great success it achieved in its 21st edition, which was organized in October 2022, as it will be the most prominent fashion event in the region, which will present a wide range of high-end and ready-to-wear fashion for women and men.
The event seeks to provide a prominent platform through which the most talented designers and brands can highlight their work and raise it to international levels.
The launch of Dubai Fashion Week was officially announced at a special event held on Tuesday in the Dubai Design District, in the presence of Abdullah Belhoul, CEO of TECOM Group, Issam Kazim, Executive Director of the Dubai Corporation for Tourism and Commerce Marketing, Ammar Al-Malik, Executive Vice President of TECOM Group – Commercial Sector, and Khadija Al-Bastaki, Senior Vice President. Chairman of TECOM Group – Dubai Design District, and Jacob Abrian, CEO of the Arab Fashion Council, along with a gathering of dignitaries and prominent government officials.
