The Syrian Artists Syndicate lied the Egyptian artist, Mohamed Ramadan, after claiming that he would perform a concert in Damascus.
The Syndicate issued a statement denying the validity of Ramadan’s assertion that the ceremony will be held in the Syrian capital on October 6, according to the “Fi Al Fan” news website.
In her statement, she described the matter as mere rumors, saying: “A reference to what is being circulated through social media about holding a concert by the artist Muhammad Ramadan in Damascus; The Artists Syndicate confirms that there is no truth to what is being circulated about holding this concert, whether through the public or private sector, and all that is being circulated are just rumors.
Ramadan had published, the day before yesterday, through his accounts on social media, a picture of him signing one of the contracts .
He wrote: “Today, I signed contracts for three concerts in three different countries. Every day I will announce to you the name of the country and the date of the party.”
He added: “The first concert, God willing, in sisterly Syria in the city of Damascus, Thursday, the sixth of October, one day before the Alexandria concert.”
Mohamed Ramadan is preparing to perform a concert in Alexandria on October 7, although he faced a campaign of criticism and demands to cancel the concert.
