UAE grants multiple entry visas to Qatar World Cup fans

The UAE has announced a supportive welcome program to host the “Haya” card holders, which is intended for fans of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, which will be held in Qatar at the end of this year from November 20 to December 18.

The move comes within the framework of the UAE’s support to the sisterly State of Qatar, to host the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 by hosting visitors to the event and allowing them to enter the Emirates.

The Federal Authority for Identity, Nationality, Customs and Ports Security explained that the program includes granting a visa to enter and reside in the UAE for a total period of up to 90 days from the date of issuance of this visa, with its fees reduced to 100 dirhams only for the total period and paid once.

The authority also indicated that Haya card holders can enter the UAE by applying for this visa starting from November 1, 2022, as it allows entry and exit from the UAE several times during its validity period.

The authority clarified that visa beneficiaries can extend the period to an additional /90/ days, after paying the fees due in accordance with the conditions and controls set by the Federal Authority for Identity, Nationality, Customs and Port Security, while citizens of countries exempted from visas to enter the UAE are excluded from the controls shown, where they can Entering and residing in the UAE according to the procedures currently in force.

How to apply for a visa.

The authority has been keen to develop an easy and accessible mechanism for obtaining a visa for holders of the “Haya” card for the Qatar 2022 World Cup. The application process includes simplified steps by visiting the authority’s website /WWW.ICP.GOV.AE/ and selecting this visa from the list of public services, and then Fill in the application data with the basic data in addition to the data of the “Haya” card, attach the required documents and pay the fees. The application can also be submitted from outside the country.
