Mohammed bin Rashid, announcing the launch of his book "Life Taught Me": I ask God to benefit the country and its people through my words and experiences

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, launched the first part of his new book, “Life Taught Me,” as a knowledge and intellectual reference for current and future generations. His Highness affirmed that he had put together the summaries of his experiences spanning nearly 60 years in the politics of people, the politics of government, and the politics of life in the book. His Highness said: “I tried to focus in this book on the human experience. I tried to understand the experiences I went through. I tried to focus on ideas, concepts and principles, not projects and achievements, because ideas are more enduring, concepts are more comprehensive, and principles are greater.”His Highness added: “Today, I write these words for myself first, and for my children and my people second, and for everyone who wants to learn even a word, phrase, or line from my life.”His Highness wrote on his official account on the “X” platform: “Brothers and sisters: In a few years, I will complete 60 years in public work.. 60 years of people’s politics.. and the politics of governance.. and the politics of life. 60 years that passed quickly with their challenges.. and achievements.. and crises.. and joys and sorrows.. and surprises..What have you learned from this life? What have you learned from the politics of governance and government..? And what have you learned from dealing with people with their different natures.. and multiple psychologies.. and the speed with which they change? What have you learned about management and its strategies? About projects and their tactics? About politics and its corridors? I put the essence of my experiences in the book “Life Taught Me” .. I wanted this book to be simple in its words.. frank in its expressions.. true in its meanings.. so that it reaches from heart to heart. Today I write these words for myself first, and for my children and my people second, and for everyone who wants to learn even a word, phrase, or line from my life.

In this book, I tried to focus on the human experience. I tried to understand the experiences I went through. I tried to focus on ideas, concepts and principles, not projects and achievements, because ideas are more enduring, concepts are more comprehensive, and principles are greater. I ask God to make my words, experiences, and life beneficial to the country and its people
