The Qatar World Cup 2022 will start next November 20 instead of the 21st of the same month, after the organizers decided to present the opening match by one day, according to what Agence France-Presse learned from official sources, Wednesday.

The opening match between Qatar and Ecuador was supposed to take place on November 21, but it was not the first match on this day.

The sources reported that the International Football Association “FIFA” and the Qatari organizers agreed to the amendment.

The next edition of the World Cup will be held for the first time in an Arab country, in addition to being held in the winter instead of the summer.

The tournament ends on December 18, 2022, coinciding with the National Day of the State of Qatar
