The activities of Dubai Design Week, the largest creative festival in the region, will be launched in a strategic partnership with the Dubai Design District of TECOM Group, and with the support of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture), from 8 to 13 November, with a rich and diverse program to celebrate design and creativity. It consolidates Dubai’s global position in the various fields of design, creativity and the arts.
The event, in its eighth edition this year, will provide an exceptional space for talented and creative designers to highlight their talents and skills. The events and activities will include a rich variety of exhibitions, installation works, exhibitions, dialogue sessions, workshops, and others, all of which will be available to visitors from different experiences and knowledge.
Dubai Design Week, which is held in the Dubai Design District, is considered one of the most prominent creative events in the region due to its variety of programs that reflect the priority given by the Emirate of Dubai to various fields of design and filing. This year’s Dubai Design Week is centered around the concept of Design for a Sustainable Future, a concept that will be integrated with all activities scheduled throughout the week with a selection of international and regional designers in various fields, including architecture, product design, interiors and multimedia.
Rich and innovative program

“Downtown Design”
Downtown Design, the leading high-end design exhibition, will return from November 9 to 12, opposite the waterfront of Dubai Design District. in it for the first time.
This year’s installation program is being organized under the title “Influence Through Design”. An elite group of regional and international designers will participate in it, to install a set of interactive artworks distributed throughout the Dubai Design District, using materials that will stimulate discussion about the positive impact that design can have on the environment.
Various exhibitions
Dubai Design District hosts a rich and diverse collection of exhibitions that shed light on how technology associated with the virtual world “Metaverse” is pushing designers to new heights. As part of the “Downtown Design” exhibition, the “Designers from the Emirates” exhibition, which receives the support of Dubai Culture, will shed light again this year on a group of the most prominent works of some local designers.
