The pop star attended the ceremony, from which she left with nine awards, wearing a black dress from Versace, which was distinguished by its asymmetrical cut, an opening at the leg, and an open back.
The singer coordinated her look with a variety of jewelry, including a carnelian and diamond ring, with a frame made of 18-carat yellow gold, from the French luxury jewelry house, Van Cleef & Arpels, worth $12,000.
It was the ring that was the subject of the search, and Swift was even seen bending down to inspect the floor in hopes of finding the precious stone.
Interestingly, when Swift took the stage to accept the award for Video of the Year for her single “Anti-Hero,” the ring was noticeably absent from her left hand.
Jeweler Joseph Saidian and Sons says the ring “will be repaired easily and quickly,” adding, “They are proud that one of their rings will now be associated with a legendary artist and a historic night.”

This ring was not the only expensive piece that the famous star wore on the night she was crowned with more than one award, as Swift placed layers of gold and silver necklaces, including what appears to be an antique chain, also sourced from Van Cleef & Arpels, with a price of 65 thousand. A dollar, in addition to a diamond necklace from Anita Kuo Jewellery, priced at approximately 32 thousand dollars.
Swift also wore a pair of diamond-studded earrings by Maria Tash, worth $21,000, and she decorated her left ear with a diamond earring by Anita Ko, worth $3,850.

Swift Awards on the Big Night:
The American star entered the awards ceremony, which was held at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, with the largest number of nominations, and came away with nine awards, including: Artist of the Year, Best Pop, Song of the Year, and Video of the Year. This made her the second most awarded artist in the history of the ceremony, and this was the second year in a row that she received the grand prize of the night, after she previously won the Video of the Year award for the song “All Too Well.”
