American rapper Russ to take Cairo by storm in October

American rapper Russ is all set to return to Egypt — to perform live at the Pyramids in Cairo — on Oct. 21 as part of his world tour, “The Journey Is Everything.”

According to Cairo Scene, this will be the Atlanta-based rapper’s second visit to the country and he is expected to play some of his chart-topping hits  like “What They Want,” “Losing Control” and “Best on Earth.”

The rapper first performed in Egypt back in 2019 in Al-Alamein on the north coast.

Russ also leads the bill on Aug. 18 at Saudi Arabia’s Gamers8 festival, alongside DJ Alan Walker and Egypt electronic act Disco Masr. The eight-week event also will also see music giants like Nancy Ajram, Marshmello and the Black Eyed Peas take the stage.

Russ’ live performance in Cairo will be organized by Venture Lifestyle, who were also behind the Black Eyed Peas Pyramids concert and Jennifer Lopez’s one-night extravaganza on the north coast.
