The Middle East Institute (MEI) is hosting Syrian interim President Ahmad al-Sharaa in New York City , on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, for a timely conversation with Charles Lister, a senior fellow and director of the MEI’s Syria Initiative.
The conversation will address Syria’s transition, economic engagement and investment, relations with the United States, its regional neighbors, and the world, as well as broader peace and security issues.
