This episode received a large share of viewership, as it exceeded one million views in less than a day since it was shown on YouTube, while the Fox channel announced that it would repeat the episode ten times during this week, due to the large amount of talk about it on social media.

The first episode of the series contained a lot of events, as it showed Public Prosecutor Leyla Gediz, who had returned to work in Istanbul, and was sitting in the guest house. Because she doesn’t want to tell her family about her return.

During a dinner that brought her together with her friend in a restaurant, she happened to meet a famous news presenter called Kenan Ozturk, who is known for exposing the facts and corrupt people at all costs. The latter began attempts to get close to her, while she refused to give him any information about her, especially after he asked her to dance with him once. Then they return to being strangers, which is what they actually do.

But fate brings them together, after the murder of a businessman named Hamdi Atlibay, known for his love of goodness. Laila is assigned to investigate the matter, while Kenan tries to search for information to present in the news bulletin he presents.

As soon as Laila begins her investigations, an eyewitness comes to the Public Prosecution and says that he saw the killer, and confirms that he saw Kenan committing the murder, which makes Laila ask her assistants to bring Kenan for questioning, and then she discovers that he The son of the Head of Parliament, under whom she works.

At the moment when “Kenan” was present and interrogated, the eyewitness, called “Idris,” said that he had given false information, and that all that mattered was that he wanted to see the famous presenter. Because he loves him, and he whispers something incomprehensible in Kenan’s ear, telling him: “Go see your daughter,” and then he flees from the prosecution, without anyone being able to find him.

Laila tries to find out what that witness said to Kenan. He tells her that he told him that Hamdi Atlibay’s daughter, called Sedef, is the one who knows everything. At that time, Laila warns Kenan not to approach the investigation. For fear of influencing him and revealing information that should not be revealed to the media, which Kenan does not abide by, this prompts her to call him again and warn him, and from here he knows her phone number.

During the events, we see flashback footage of the murder, as “Kenan” appears, actually stabbing “Hamdi” in a distant forest, and while “Hamdi” asks him if he is the famous news presenter, “Kenan” says that his name is “Doğan.” He does not know anything about who Hamdi is talking about, and we see a doll in one of the trees near the incident. We also discover that Kenan’s father knows that his son suffers from dissociative identity disorder, or multiple personalities, since he was young.

Likewise, Sedev comes out to confess to the world that her father is not what they know him to be, but rather a bad man who committed many rape crimes against many girls.

We also see “Kenan” trying to win Laila’s heart, by inviting her to dinner in a strange way, and we also see them together as they chase “Idris”, until they reach a distant forest, in which there is an abandoned house containing many dolls, which surprises “Laila.” Kenan assures her that the killer will continue to carry out other crimes.

While they are searching the abandoned house, Laila finds a picture of her father, whom she loves very much, with Hamdi Atlibay, which surprises her. During that time, she is exposed to a bee sting, which causes her to panic, especially since she is mortally allergic to it. Kenan tries to save her, and finds… Herself in the hospital.

Despite the momentum of events, which the script narrates over the course of two hours and 11 minutes, the audience was divided over the work. Some of them saw it as a fully-fledged series, far from the usual Turkish drama stories. One of them said: “The ending at the end of the first episode was very, very beautiful.
