Maha Al-Jehani recently joined NEOM as a project specialist.
She will be responsible for managing a number of digital programs including site launches, online tools, and documentation while maintaining a focus on recording the journey of the megacity, in northwest Saudi Arabia.
Between July 2020 and February, she worked at Panda Retail Co. as an omnichannel project manager tasked with leading, evaluating, and developing the firm’s operations team to meet budget, safety, quality, and customer satisfaction goals while also preparing and analyzing project studies, following up on performance, and drawing up short- and long-term plans and strategies.
In addition, she played a leading role in helping the company achieve key objectives such as performance metrics, and from June 2018 to June 2020 held the position of senior system analyst applying her technical expertise to a number of data and technology projects.
Al-Jehani gained a bachelor’s degree in information systems from Effat University in 2017.
In August 2018, she participated in the Hajj Hackathon, and two months later the NASA International Space Apps Challenge.
From November 2017 to June 2018, she worked at the International Extended Care Center as an app specialist and was an intern in the Islamic Development Bank’s IT department between July and October 2017, Effat University from May to June 2017, and Bank Al Jazira between June and August 2016.
In January 2018, Al-Jehani published an academic paper titled, “Cloud computing-based healthcare information systems: A proposal for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia” at the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers
